Stellar Network is a not-for-profit membership organisation for professionals working within London’s film, TV and theatre industries. Created for those above entry level, and within the first 10 years of their careers, Stellar brings together talent to strengthen and invigorate the creative industries by sharing resources, contacts and knowledge. Stellar is particularly valuable to those freelancers and SME creative businesses actively looking to extend their professional networks.
All membership applications will be reviewed by the Stellar committee – we will contact you within three business days.

Stellar Network Membership Terms & Conditions
This Agreement sets out the terms upon which membership of Stellar is offered to members (each, including any person accessing your account, a “member” or “you”). Membership fees for 1 year are to be paid fully upfront, or in twelve monthly payments as set out below. The payment details need to be completed on the Stellar website at www.stellarnetwork.com (the “Website”) before the membership application can be activated.
The Service is operated in London by Stellar Network Limited (”Stellar” or “we”), a Limited by Guarantee not-for-profit company incorporated in London. Its registered office is

The main objectives of Stellar are:
To help guarantee the future of our film, theatre and television industries by bringing the next generation of creative individuals together to motivate, support and learn from one another; To share resources, contacts and knowledge to create a stronger cross-industry community in the UK; and To highlight and support UK talent within the international community.
1. The Stellar Service and Commitment
1.1 The Stellar service (the “Service”) offers members three types of activities. These are social, support and virtual activities. Social activities include monthly gatherings of members, film and TV screenings and theatre outings. Support activities include providing workshops, panel discussions, mentoring and access to resources. Virtual activities include access to information on the Website, weekly email bulletins and postings by members.
1.2 The above lists are not exhaustive nor a guarantee that those aspects of the Service will be delivered. Stellar reserves the right to change the Service in order to achieve its overall objectives more effectively.
1.3 UK members will also have access to some Bafta East Coast Stellar Associate activities where appropriate, and similarly, NY members may access the UK Website and UK activities where appropriate.
1.4 Stellar will use all reasonable efforts to maintain the Website as fully operational during the term of your membership but we cannot guarantee continued or uninterrupted operation of the Website or that it will be always be error free.
1.5 Stellar will endeavour to provide all full members with access to the archive of all previous newsletters, contracts and all the other information which Stellar makes available to its members in the future.
2. Application and Membership
2.1 You have to be a member of Stellar in order to be able use any of the support or virtual activities as well as have free access to social activities. Guests of members will occasionally be allowed to accompany members to events, or are allowed to said events upon payment of a set cover charge, which will be set on a case-by-case basis.
While Stellar welcomes and encourages children to participate in the international film community, the Website and Services are designed for adults. If you are under 18 years old, you may use the Website and Services only with the supervision of a parent of guardian.
2.2 Potential members must apply through the Website in order to become a member. Stellar will notify each applicant by email if its application has been accepted by Stellar.
2.3 Stellar reserves the right to accept or decline to accept applicants at its sole discretion. If an application is rejected, the applicant will be informed via email and any further communication will be at the sole discretion of Stellar.
2.4 Members have to complete the registration details as accurately as possible and should promptly notify us of any changes to your personal details. If we become aware that you are not using your true identity we reserve the right to terminate your membership with immediate effect.
3. Fees and Renewals
3.1 The standard annual fee is either £75 payable upfront or £7.99 per month for twelve consecutive months. Once we notify you that your application has been accepted, payment can only be made by credit card via the Website, or by cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Stellar Network Ltd and mailed to Stellar Network, PO Box 48865, London WC1N 3WU. Stellar may have to increase the annual fee from time to time by either posting the new fee rate on the Website or by emailing members directly. Similarly Stellar may offer promotional discounts at its own discretion.
3.2 Those applicants still in full time education or who are registered at an address outside of London are eligible for a concessionary rate, payable immediately in full, of £60. Evidence in support of an application for a concessionary rate must be presented, and acceptance is at Stellar Network’s discretion.
3.3 Before the annual period of membership expires, we will remind you to renew your membership for a subsequent 12 month period unless we elect in accordance with these Terms and Conditions not to renew your membership in which event we will notify you. In the event that we elect in accordance with these Terms and Conditions not to review your membership or if you tell us that you do not want to renew your membership or your payment to renew your membership is not received by the due date, you will be removed from the list of members and you will not be entitled to the Service after your current membership expires.
3.4 If a membership expires, we may continue to contact you with details of Stellar Network events and services until such time as you inform Stellar that you no longer wish to be contacted.
3.5 The annual fee allows members access to all of the activities available with the Service. Stellar will endeavour to provide all of these activities at no extra cost to the members. However we reserve the right to charge a supplementary cost for some activities if required.
3.6 Stellar reserves the right to have special offers on the annual fee from time to time as part of its promotional and marketing activities and shall not be obliged to offer any such offers to all of its members.
3.7 You have the right to cancel your membership up to seven days after you initially sign up for our Service. If you do wish to cancel within seven days, you should email us at info@stellarnetwork.com and specify the word “Cancellation” in the subject line. We will then refund your membership fee subject to a £5 processing fee, which we will withhold from your refund. Any time thereafter during the 12 month membership period, refunds of your membership fees will only be made at our sole discretion. We are under no obligation to refund your membership fee or any portion of the fee.
4. Content of Members’ Postings
4.1 You may not post anything on the Website that contains any offensive language or anything which is considered by us to be obscene, threatening, harassing, defamatory or otherwise unlawful or objectionable.
4.2 In particular, you must not use our Services for any commercial, illegal or unlawful purpose including posting anything that is fraudulent, inaccurate, incomplete, false or misleading. You must not impersonate any person, group company or entity nor must you disguise the origin of any message that you send. In the event that Stellar are made aware of any such posting, your membership will be terminated with immediate effect. In addition, Stellar may review posted content and remove or edit such contents in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
4.3 Any opinions, advice, statements, services, offers or other information expressed or made available by third parties, including information providers, users and others are those of the respective author(s) and do not necessarily or reflect those of Stellar or its affiliates.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 You acknowledge that Stellar owns all the intellectual property rights to the Service and the Website and that any reproduction, distribution or publication of any content is prohibited without the express written consent of Stellar. In order to get our consent, you should email us at uk@stellarnetwork.com and specify the word “Consent” in the subject line.
5.2 By sending any information or details to Stellar or the Website, you are agreeing to allow us to publish and reproduce its contents in whatever way we choose. In legal terms this means that you are granting us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to publish, modify and reproduce any information or details which you send us.
6. Liability and Indemnity
6.1 Stellar cannot accept any liability for any information published as part of the Service (including postings on the Website) and you acknowledge that Stellar and its affiliates cannot be liable. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of any of the information that appears as part of the Service. We advise you to check out people and companies, including by asking for references and checking company track records that you are put in touch with through Stellar with utmost care.
6.2 The Services and Website of Stellar are operated on an ‘as is’ basis without warranties of any kind either express or implied. Neither Stellar nor anyone else involved in creating, producing or delivering the Service should be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the use of the Service or inability to use the Service in breach of any warranty. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits Stellar’s liability which may not by law be excluded.
6.3 You are responsible for the content posted by you (or any person accessing your account) and you represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to contents that you (or any person accessing your account) post; that the content is accurate and that the content does not violate these Terms and Conditions. You agree to indemnify Stellar and its affiliates in respect of any claims, losses, expenses, damages and costs, including any legal fees resulting from: (1) any breach or alleged breach by you of these terms, (2) any infringement or alleged infringement of copyright or intellectual property rights in material posted by you and (3) any other wrongful use or alleged wrongful use by any member of the Service.
7. Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate (or to suspend, restrict, or attach conditions to your membership and access to the Website) if you are in breach of these Terms or otherwise. Stellar may terminate any membership entirely at its own discretion. We reserve the right to deny access and/or membership to any member for any reason which we consider appropriate.
7.2 In the event of termination (or suspension, restriction or attachment of conditions to your membership) for breach of these Terms and Conditions, no refunds will be payable.
8. Personal Information
8.1 We will respect the privacy of all your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You should be aware that we do reserve the right to use your email address for the purposes of what we in our absolute discretion consider to be marketing which is relevant to members.
In subscribing for the Service, you expressly consent to your email address being included in the Stellar email list. If at any time you object to the use of your email address in this way, you should email us at uk@stellarnetwork.com, specifying “Remove me” in the subject line and stating the address you want to be removed.
8.2 We reserve the right to share personal information with Stellar Network Limited, Stellar Network Global and any other Stellar Network companies or affiliates set up at a future date.
9. General Matters
9.1 Stellar will immediately terminate your membership if we believe that you are involved in any way in transmitting junk email, spam or unsolicited email in any form including bulk email, commercial or otherwise either through the Stellar Service or to any member of Stellar.
9.2 You must not engage in harvesting or otherwise collecting information including email addresses about other members.
9.3 Each user agrees to discontinue any communication with any member of the Service if that person so requests. If a member does not contact you back after three attempts of your initiating contact with him or her, you should cease contact with that member. We retain the right to terminate membership if this policy is not adhered to. In other words, it is unacceptable behaviour for any member to harass another member.
9.4 Stellar can amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time by notifying members either by email or on the home page at www.stellarnetwork.com. If any of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
9.5 You cannot assign or transfer your membership without our written agreement.
9.6 In the event that the Website displays or advertises promotions, services or products which are offered by other parties or other individual members and you take advantage of such offers then your contractual relationship is only with that third party. Stellar and its affiliates assume no responsibility or liability for your contractual relationship with such third parties.
9.7 These terms do not confer any rights on any persons who are not members of Stellar.
9.8 These terms and your use of the Website and the Service are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. You agree that the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to principles of conflicts of law, will govern these Terms and Conditions and any dispute that may arise between you and Stellar or its affiliates and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the British courts. You also agree that regardless of any law or statute, any claims or cause of action arising out of or relating to the website and the services and these Terms and Conditions must be brought within one (1) year of the date the cause of action arose, or be barred as untimely. To the extent that anything in or associated with the Website or Services is in conflict or is inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions, these Terms and Conditions shall control.
Stellar’s failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision nor of its right to enforce such provisions.
